The entire experience was amazing. The grounds, the hotel, the food, it spoiled us for the rest of our trip! The hotel itself had many activities: pool, ping pong, croquet, tennis, etc which worked great for the kids. The dinner at night was spectacular! And I found the staff to be super helpful and nice. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful surroundings. Wonderful interior! We stayed in January 2019. The history is evident but with modern tech & touches. Our stay was in a private cabin (patio king upgrade), clean and spacious. A working fireplace for the January night chill. A pleasant short walk through the gorgeous grounds to the main building and gourmet dining room for excellent meals. Extremely helpful & knowledgeable staff. We would stay again and again.

Gotta stay here if you like historic properties. This is more of an elegant compound with dozens of little casitas. I wondered for days just checking out all the gardens, ponds, fountains. Overall the staff was very nice and professional.

We had a wonderful stay at the Arizona Inn. We were upgraded to a superior patio king. In addition to the king bed, there was a fireplace, and a sitting area with sofa, two arm chairs, coffee table, a desk with an iPad loaded with hotel information and a book explaining the very interesting history of the Arizona Inn as well as a shelf of real books. The walk-in closet was larger than my college dorm room and had a safe, umbrella, ironing board, 2 luggage stands. In the white-tiled bathroom there was a vase with live flowers and a lovely assortment of bath products. But here are the little touches that made me feel pampered: a small box of chocolates with a welcome note from the manager, ice already in the ice bucket when we checked in, and a copy of the NY Times delivered to our door step each morning - including Sunday!! We found the Arizona Inn had a very convenient location close to the University of Arizona and a lovely drive over Gates Pass to the Sonoran Desert Museum. After full days of sight seeing it was cool and relaxing to return to our desert oasis. The grounds are lovely and include a croquet lawn and tennis courts. We spent each late afternoon at the pool area where they served complimentary ice cream sundaes, and provided towels, insect repellent, newspapers, bar service, and lots of lounge chairs and tables. As we were checking out on a Sunday morning we were able to enjoy coffee and newspapers in the library in the main building. In addition to the wonderful facilities, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I think i have been too spoiled to ever stay anywhere else when visiting Tucson.
