Myself and 2 other friends spent two nights at the Lido in Molveno while touring the wine regions of the Valtellina and Valpolicella. We booked a total of three rooms and each room was clean, well presented and comfortable. One of the rooms had a mountain view which was stunning and the others had lake views that were even more impressive. The bathrooms had been recently refurbished and were nearly 4-star quality in terms of fixtures and and fittings. The rooms are quite classic alpine lodge style, but felt more 'classic' and no part of the hotel felt tired. The location is exceptional for access to the waterfront and beach. Most of the restaurants are just a short walk uphill. The walk is not taxing for anyone of average health or age. The staff was friendly, very positive and helpful. Breakfast was buffet and continental style as is standard practice. Bedding was comfortable, but not 4-start luxurious bedding - regardless, I slept well every night.

We were made to feel very welcome at this hotel by the staff were very helpful. We paid for a suite which was spacious and had fantastic views of the Lake. The half board option we had was good as there was very little open in the town due to being out of season.

I stayed at the hotel in September 2016 with my 88 year old mother in the suite Ortensia with the view of the lake. It was perfect. I really appreciated how all the personnel went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. Starting with email communication about our needs and fully satisfying them. I had some questions since my mom is 88 eight, like is there an elevator, can we have 2 separate beds, can we have a view...and all of them got answered (in English!). The place is beautiful. Lake Molveno is a little paradise in Dolomites. The lake is crystal clear, the mountains top right over it. The hotel grounds are very beautifully landscaped, with trees, flowers, fountains and a lots of sitting options. You can pick between a swing, lounge chair, arm chair, sofa or a table chairs and get very comfortable. There are two hot tubs outside to use after a swim in a lake or a big hike in the mountains. The food is exquisite. We went for half board ( breakfast and dinner ). Breakfast offered buffet table with choices of sweets and savory ( delicious prosciutto every day for me ), yogurt, fruit, juices and tea or coffee. Dinner was a 5 course meal, starting with a salad buffet table and followed by the chefs daily creations. So delicious. Our apartment had two rooms, big walk-in closet and a huge bathroom with a jet tub and a shower. All very clean and quite new. Big balcony overlooking the lake was our source of pleasure every day. We also enjoyed the many common rooms the hotel has to offer. There is a comfy spot for everyone, if you want to read, have a drink or play cards with kids. The personnel was incredibly helpful, they spoke English and always had our best interest in mind. We will definitely come back.

Our second stay at the Lido and it's was as good if not better than our last stay. Located very close to the lakeside. There is nothing I could fault about this hotel. It's family run, friendly, exceptionally clean and bright. I'd challenge anyone to find even a speck of dust. The decor is beautiful, lots of little touches that make it feel comfortable and relaxing. There are a few places to sit on soft sofas and enjoy quiet times. The room we stayed in this time was a mini suite on the second floor with views across the lake. It had a large bathroom with hydro bath and shower, a lounge area with large TV and comfortable seating and a bedroom with plent strange and another TV. I'd highly recommend the dinner, it's absolutely delicious. A luxurious hotel but not luxurious cost. Highly recommended, and don't miss the food. The staff also deserve a mention and in particular the restaurant staff are very helpful, and provide a great service.

The hotel is just lovely! It is spotless......everywhere! Our room for two people included a living area, kitchen, huge bathroom and walk in closet. Easily could accommodate 4 people. Two balconies overlooking Lake Molveno. Walking distance to everything. There are several nice sitting areas outside to enjoy the view of the lake or the Dolomites. The people running the hotel were exceptionally nice and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Europe.
