What can I say! This hotel is stunning! From the fabulous welcome off the boat to the amazing views! The staff are all super lovely and the hotel grounds are understated but beautiful. We had a room with a plunge pool which was slightly disappointing as the water was freezing and as the balcony is shaded you never get hot enough to need to cool off. We used it once so a bit of a waste. Think they really need to consider heating these. The room and bathroom were stunning. Beds are huge and bathroom too. Breakfast is amazing with menu choice rather than buffet. Stunning sea views from restaurant, bar and pool as well as from our room. We had our 10 year old daughter with us and she loved the hotel but 4 nights was enough as there were no other kids and its more aimed at couples. Restaurant, bar and ice cream parlour are all excellent too. Loved the island and the highlight was swimming with manta rays!!! I would return in a heart beat!!!

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our honeymoon and as with most holidays, we wished we were staying longer! The communication with the hotel was brilliant and they kindly organised a pick up from our hotel in Ubud, a representative to assist us with checking in for our fast boat service from Sanur, and a shuttle to Batu Karang- everything ran so smoothly and it was so lovely to know that we were in good hands! Welcome drinks were very refreshing and we just couldn't believe how amazing the view of the bay was, it was awesome how we could see Mount Agung in the distance too! The bougainvillea surrounding the front of the hotel was so colourful. We were talked through the facilities available and shown to our room. The information via the TV is a great idea and very visual. We later realised that we were only given one big towel and in hindsight we should have called up reception to ask for another but instead we just used one of the beach ones that were by our plunge pool. The body wash bottle was also empty so perhaps this could be checked before guests arrive at their room. The location of the hotel was amazing, it was so easy to walk out to other restaurants and bars that are also on the front. If you get a chance, definitely check out the whisky/gin/wine bar below the hotel- we have never seen such a comprehensive list of cocktails and whiskies from all over the world! It felt really cosy in there too and could have easily stayed in there all night long. The Deck cafe was also great for food and happy hour drinks! We felt that during the busiest time for breakfast, the hotel restaurant was understaffed. On our last morning there, we waited for a long time for our food and cutlery was missing. Despite a few little glitches during our stay, we were so happy we chose to stay at this stunning hotel and felt really safe and comfortable! Thank you!

Stayed with family for few days. This place is really beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed our short stay here. Getting here is an experience, Batu staff assisted with the bookings, but when we reached the hotel, there was no one to help us with the bags and trust me, you will not be able to carry your bags on your own. We got help after searching. However, staff are really nice, cooperative & friendly. They take care of all your requests and goes one step further to help you. Rooms are really nice & spacious - specifically bathrooms are unique. Spa is bit hyped & expensive, but still it is relaxing and you can enjoy the stone & other massages they offer. Restaurant is really nice and supported by great staff. The only improvement I can think of is that pick-up & drop service needs to be improved - we faced few issues with that. May be a dedicated service for Batu residents with extra cost, did not liked the shared service. Otherwise, this is an awesome place.

We stayed 2 nights here at the last minute (our AirBnb was not what we expected and didnt feel safe - its a whole other story). We loved staying here. The food was delicious, the staff was amazing, and the views were incredible. It was nice to go on our daily adventures and come back to a relaxing room and pool. You can walk from the hotel to a few other restaurants and bars very easily (and pay a little less), or enjoy the food at the hotel. There are three pools - a lap pool, a beach view pool, and another one a bit more secluded (and next to lap pool). It was never too crowded or noisy. Lembongan and Ceningan are beautiful islands and Batu was an amazing base from which to explore theses islands. Transport was easily arranged to/from hotel - including a fast boat back to Sanur. Its a little chaotic to get on and off those boats, but we had no issues at all at the end of the day. Book this hotel. It may be one of the more expensive ones - but it is worth it. You will feel very connected with island and Balinese culture, while still having a comfortable and secure accommodation. We wish we would have stayed longer here - both the hotel and Lembongan. We thought the island was more fun and relaxed than Ubud or any other part of Bali. Attached photos are from the hotel and our moped trip around the islands.

we stayed here a couple of weeks ago and found the hotel to be a quality haven in a stunning position overlooking the bay. The staff were delightful and helpful. The rooms were glorious with an outdoor bath and shower. The pools were all peaceful and quiet. The Deck dining area was a treat, both at breakfast and dinner and the food top quality. Sitting beside the colourful bougainvillea with small birds flitting about and looking into the clear water with all the boats coming and going made it a lovely experience.
