Located in Platis Gialos, just 10 min away from Mykonos town, I'd highly recommend Mina Studios if you aim to stay in within a centric area of the island while slightly away from the busy Mykonos center. Managed by a lovely couple who really made the experience better than we could expect, it offers both great rooms (be sure to choose the superior one with private balcony) and breakfast - best greek yogurt served here! Clean rooms, and located right next to the bus stop to Mykonos town and a series of beaches. Thanks Mina & Kosmos, appreciate your service.

Mina and her husband Kosmos do a great job running this hotel. They are both kind and caring people and one feels at home there. Mina is always available to answer questions and upon arrival Mina supplies you with very valuable information. Kosmos does a great job with making his special eggs.

Me and my friend stayed in deluxe double room. It was amazing! Super clean and the towels smelled like flowers. The family that owns the hotel was so friendly. The "dad" picked us up at the port when we arrived and dropped us of at the airport when we had to leave (included in the price or for free, decide for yourself..). Mina herself showed us all the good locations on Mykonos and which restaurants to go to. And their son served us breakfast every morning! The Beach is really one minute away (amazing beach!) The Bus stop is also a minute away and the bus to Mykonos town runs every half an hour almost all day. Don't forget to eat at Avli at the beach! Amazing

    • Crazy prices!!

Mina studios offers studios (apartments) and rooms. The studios are quite old and the rooms are very new. Be careful because I booked a triple room and on Booking site and on Minas site I red that all the solutions are provided of a kitchen and that there is a private patio. Its not like this since the room (even if very expensive) dont have a kitchen. There are not private patio because it is the same for all the guest: so when you are in the room you have to keep the curtains always closed, otherwise the other guests are able to watch in your room. In the morning it was not possible to sleep well because other guests used to speak and shout in the patio, behind our room windows. Furthermore a lot of sunshine passed through the curtains, so the room at 8 am was full of light. Even the room was for 3 people, I highly recommend not to be more than 2 and if you are a couple it is better: there is no enough space for 3 people and there is not a real restroom, it is within the room! There are 2 sinks in front of the bed, behind a glass door there is a large shower and behind another glass door there is the toilet (it is not possible to throw the dirty paper away in the toilet, but you have to throw it away in a garbage basket). We had the breakfast included but there was not coffe espresso (now it is so easy to provide it!!!) and the quality of the food was low (from discount markets). The jam was chemical, totally jelly. Minas husband and son are very kind and they ask every day if you want an omelette, a toast or pieces of cake (not fresh of course). There is also some fruits. Summarizing, our holiday was pretty nice but the price was not balanced with the quality of the place. At the same price we could have been stayed in a beautiful hotel in Mykonos town, without driving every evening and every night from there to Platis Gialos. All the people we met in Mykonos told us we were crazy to pay an amount like that for a residence in Platis Gialos.
