The hotel is in an important location in Haifa, but not the nicest. Staff friendly room clean BUT, they are too small for a couple on a" boutique hotel ". I am sure that there are suites an larger rooms as misleading in the advertisement, but most rooms are small and cramped. Not really recommended as a boutique hotel.

The hotel is very nice, clean. The rooms are big and nicely decorated, very comfortable. The staff is really kind and helpful. We stay with 3 children and a baby and were given communicating rooms what was not sure at time of booking but so appreciated. Happy hour is for sure a plus. Very good time in this beautiful place. We recommend !!

This hotel is beautiful. It is located on a hill overlooking the Mediteranian Sea. The room was quite large, tastefully decorated, and had a small balcony. Breakfast downstairs was great and the service was excellent. We went for a walk and missed the happy hour, but friends told us it was great.

My partner and I arrived to the hotel on Saturday afternoon. 1. My partner is a Canadian and made the booking. At check in he provided all needed documentation (passport, stamped slip , visa card). However, he was requested to show additional passport, which I as Israeli did not have. As a result we were charged on 50% of the room VAT, and on the other 50% of the room we were not charged VAT. I work for the hospitality business, and never heard of charging 50% of the room according to one tax policy and another 50% of the same room according to another tax policy. 2. We than were expecting the "happy hour" which was mentioned in couple of the reviews here as a great benefit, just to find out that " unfortunately there is no happy hour on Saturdays". with no explanation whatsoever on why there is no happy hour on saturdays. 3. Around 9 pm , we asked the person at the lobby if there is wine for us to have, we were told "unfortunately not" with no any kind of indication how to get wine or why a hotel would not have any kind of paid wine option. The all experience on Saturday night felt as we are disturbing with questions about happy hours and wine. In any case, the building itself is beautiful, the breakfast place and the breakfast experience were all great, the room was ok plus. My recommendation don't check in at the Bay club on Saturdays night.
