Hotel quirky. Breathing views. Pool area really comfortable loads of loungers. Room a little small with low ceiling, they have done their best with design as they are old rooms (now renovated). Id recommend a visit join their rewards package as you will get extras.

Loved our stay at the Catalonia Reina Victoria for many reasons. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming - from the staff on reception, to the cleaners who kept our room lovely and tidy each day. They couldnt do enough for us. On arriving we were given a map and were told where the points of interest were in relation to our hotel which was great as it was our first time in Ronda - everything was really nearby but the hotel is just off the main stretch (about a 5-10 minute stroll downhill going into town, uphill going back to the hotel). Our room at the hotel was really big, it had a lovely clean bathroom with a huge power shower, a mini bar (which we used as a fridge for our water), a complimentary bottle of water that was replaced each time when empty, a full sized hairdryer, a small table and seating area, a dressing table, a massive, comfy king-sized bed and two large windows although our room looked out onto the fire escape so we kept our curtains closed (you can choose a room with a terrace when booking in which case you would either be overlooking the pool area or the mountains but this does come at an extra cost - we werent too bothered by this). Cleaners were superb, they left our room lovely and clean/tidy every day. The pool area is stunning as it overlooks the gauge. It was never too busy and we were always able to get a sun-bed whatever time of the day we turned up. The hotel bar is lovely for a drink in the evening. We usually started our evenings here and then went back for a night cap. All staff there were wonderful especially Roman, who was very attentive and friendly. He was superb! We ate on our final night in the hotel restaurant and really wished we had gone there more! Although the setting makes you think it will be really expensive it was no more expensive than some of the places in town we had visited earlier on in the week. The only difference being, the setting was stunning! The food was amazing! And the staff were excellent, making you feel very special. Really loved the location as it wasnt too far away from everything but was lovely and quiet at night. The views were sensational and the staff brilliant! We would definitely stay here again.

    • Big hotel, handy location

This is a big hotel, multi storey and lots of rooms. Our room was under the roof, A frame ceilings and bathroom and toilet tucked into the corners, a bit on the small side. Great balcony with fantastic views, big pool but very busy with a bus full of young men everywhere. Outside areas for drinks and food have fantastic views. Not somewhere we would stay again.

We had a nice time and the room was clean. The pool was clean and good view. Breakfast was as expected good. The parking cost 15 euros and you can pay by disk. The hotel is located good and you walk to the center
