      My partner and I choose to stay at this hotel given the proximity to city center and the nice reviews, the hotel its self is decent and very close walk to city center where you will find some nice restaurants and shops. However were we wrong with choosing this hotel, as a gay couple we did not expect to be treated as outsiders in a Marriott hotel. Every time we passed by we were greeted with stares that did not make us feel comfortable, when we asked out recommendations were directed to a brochure rack and was told I'm sure you can find something in there. As we were clearly not wanted we choose to depart a day early and advised the front desk team of this, however they decided to still charge us for us unused night + resort fee (that's another joke) when I asked for the managers card they obliged and I sent an email to the GM on four separate occasions however never received a response back. My advise... stay away unless you feel like being ignored and/ or judged.

      The room was not all that great since I was not facing the ocean. However, theres an associate called Leah who works in the lobby restaurant, she exceeded my expectations. I was worried that I would miss my flight, but she assured me, comforted me and told me that I would get to the airport in time to catch my flight home back to Florida . That made me feel way better than some fake smile at the front desk. Sometimes, just a little kind word can go along way! She was the silver lining behind my dark cloud. I will forever be thankful!

      The service is outstanding there, rooms are remodeled, brand news, food and beverage are excellent and delicious, all staff friendly and helper all the time to call taxi, reference a restaurant, and other places or how to get there. I highly recommended!!!!

      The service was great from start to end. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Tarita who made me feel very welcome. I was checked in promptly and with a smile, Tarita gave me a clean and spacious pool side room. Lashawn and George both provided a very friendly service from behind the bar and Barrington the door man also made my stay extra special. Please do stay here as its one of the top hotels in Nassau and just a stones through away from Junkanoo Beach. The other guests are all very friendly, from all walks of life and lovely to speak with. I will be staying here for all future business trips in Nassau. Thank you all for being so kind

      Family of 5 flew in a night early to go to Atlantis. The moment I walked in I knew something was wrong. The hotel stinks of mildew. There is black mold on the walls and ceilings throughout. They dont provide conditioner, but do provide shampoo. The breakfast service was chaos. Our food came out in bits and pieces, over the course of 45 minutes for bagels and eggs. They got our coffee order wrong 3 times, despite telling them what we ordered. Trying to get a cab out of here has been a nightmare. We read on TripAdvisor cab drivers stop at the grocery store on the way to Atlantis all the time and we would have no trouble. We got a rate in advance, which was a flat $45 and he would wait while I ran into the store, up to 10 minutes. He didnt answer the phone, so we walked outside. The first van told us he would not wait on us and would charge us to go into the store, but wouldnt quote a rate. So we declined. He walked to all the other cabs in line and told them so NO ONE out of 6 cabs waiting would take us. My husband walked across the street and a cab is on the way now, but after 30 minutes sitting in this lobby, I really think the hotel should be doing a better job managing transportation. I would have given it 0 stars except the check in was smooth.
