    • Great hotel, upcoming area, clean and good breakfast

      Reviewed 15 October 2019

Hotels in the centre on Boston are so expensive and with the exchange rate tanking I decide look for something more reasonable. Was really happy to stumble upon The Element. The Seaport District is under major construction but what is there is nice and its quiet but feels safe. Public Transport is just a short walk away and proximity to the airport worked well for us too. The rooms are a good size and the kitchenette could price a great plus to some. The pool is small but warm and the fitness room has some good and varied equipment. The breakfast was very nice , though a variation from the frittatas one morning might have been nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall the savings on the original hotel we had booked (abut 75 per night, free WiFi, breakfast included, cheaper parking) and the quality of the hotel made this a diamond find and I fully recommend it for visiting Boston.

This is a great hotel at a reasonable price with great staff. Stayed in October for a family get together. Never stayed in hotel in south Boston and was very pleased. Room was comfortable with full kitchen. Great Breakfast was available in the morning and the staff was very pleasant. This is a great area of Boston that in going through a revitalization. Definite hotel to stay at if you are visiting south Boston.

Ok so this hotel isnt central but in seaport area. But dont let this put you off. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a fabulous stay. Upgraded to a massive apartment. Big kitchen. Big bedroom. Big bathroom. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Staff helpful and attentive. Can not fault this place

    • Great Location

      Reviewed 27 September 2019

Our stay here was brief as we spent one night here before leaving on a cruise the next morning. This is an ideal location from the airport and from the port terminal. Nice addition to Marriott properties, room had a full kitchen, modern interior, clean and bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was well above standard hotel breakfasts, homemade French toast, fresh fruit, latte machine, good variety of choices. Lobby was modern and very clean. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Across the street from the convention center where they had late night outdoor music. Restaurants in South Boston within walking distance. If I travel to Boston again I would definitely stay here and I recommend it for convenient location to anyone needing a hotel the night before a cruise.

    • Very good value in trendy Seaport area

      Reviewed 21 September 2019

This brand of the Marriott family is well-suited for longer stays and business travelers, but it worked for us for a short visit to Boston. Good value, very large "urban-apartment" style suites, much above-average complimentary breakfast buffet, and other amenities including bikes to borrow. The hotel is across the street from the convention center and the activities at the "Lawn on D." Just a 10-minute walk to the Seaport Blvd action. Only nit to pick is that the room decor is so neutral that it feels like walking into a black and white movie. Overall, a relative bargain and very comfortable.
