The hotel is situated in an odd location on the fringe of SdeC and is a good hike to the historic center. We had a car so it wasn't a problem and the hotel has a few courtesy buses. We were given a suite in a building adjacent to the hotel and couldn't complain. It had private parking, a separate living room and was spotless. Breakfast was excellent as expected. The 'fringe' location was offset by the price. It was excellent value for money and we couldn't have got accommodation near the center for the same value, but then again we had a car.

A really good hotel a few minutes by taxi outside city. Lovely grounds, pool and very comfortable bedrooms. However some of the staff need to try smiling and being a little bit nicer- doesn't take much! It would seriously improve the general vibe here. One nice lady at reception and guy at pool bar but the others - well, not so much. Shuttle service to city is good if you can't walk any longer!

Hello. I visited the hotel for 2 weeks in November 2018. I am writing this review on behalf of 25 Canadian families who stayed at that hotel as part of the World Youth Chess Championship held in Santiago de Compostela. The hotel was highly recommended to our delegation by the event organizers. We were given nice villas with a spacious living room, and a bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor. We were very pleased with this. The problems were with the food. One of the reasons we selected this hotel was because of the good reviews for the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food offered to us was completely unacceptable. No fresh fruits or salads at all the first few days. After we complained, we started getting one fruit per meal. Apples at breakfast. If you don't like apples, you are out of luck, you have to wait for the next meal. Pears at lunch. Again - no choice. And this way until the end. Breakfast choice was so limited, a lot of the families were skipping breakfast completely. No ham or cheese or other meats for sandwiches. First few days - only white bread - 1 type. Compare this with the 20+ types of breads and rolls we had in Brazil last year. For dinner, we were offered fish every day. Never in my whole life had I experienced so much fish. Kids in general don't like fish. There was no chicken or pork offered as an alternative. I have traveled to these events in the last few years. Greece by far offered the best food selection. Even Brazil last year offered better food that this hotel. Overall, very disappointing. For the money we paid for food - we stayed often hungry and I came home lighter than when I arrived - I lost 4-5 pounds and this is without practically any exercise or movement during my stay. I would not recommend the food at this hotel. If you care about food choice, look for another alternative.

The hotel is fantastic! Great place to stay! Wonderful view and very calm. A little far from the city centre but it is a positive point because has a lot of green area and lovely for children! The breakfast is lovely! Try almond tarte!

We are currently staying in this hotel as part of an International Youth Chess Team. Food quality is really poor. No variety and the amount of food is not sufficient. FIDE chess federation recommended this hotel as a preferred partner. It is not clear to us how this hotel could be recommended as a preferred vendor. All teams are very unhappy: USA, Canada, Israel and UK. The teams include parents with kids who are now stuck in this property for 2 weeks. The hotel is taking the advantage of us knowing we cannot leave until the end of the championship.
