    • Short wonderful getaway

We were greeted warmly by our host/owner Peter Starbuck, snacked immediatlly on the cheese, crackers, yes and even macaroons offered as we had skipped lunch. Peter showed us to our wonderful room, advised us about local stores and restaurants. The whole house was spotless, and beautiful. Enjoyed the back patio and watched the night sky late. Had a great breakfast cooked by our incredible innkeeper in the morning. Such a relaxing stay, we were able to walk and explore the town. We will return in the fall and will stay here again! Don't miss this gem if you are near Kent Ct.

We had a few days in Kent on our mother-daughter getaway; the Starbuck Inn was the perfect place to go. The Inn was charming and comfortable, and Peter was both a gracious host and a wonderful chef. The breakfasts and afternoon teas were warm and delicious. The Inn is well-located on Main street in walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Peter was immensely knowledgeable about Kent and local history, and made some excellent suggestions for activities. All in all a perfect few days; we would highly recommend.

Peter was full of Kent knowledge and recommendations and made us feel so welcome, especially over the Christmas holiday. We had a wonderful experience at the inn. Afternoon tea featured tempting treats along with healthy options, plus adult beverages. The grounds provide beautiful views, and the town of Kent is charming. The best asset here, however, is innkeeper Peter Starbuck. He is a fantastic host, great storyteller, and provider of information about area.
