Great service and a comfortable modern hotel setting. The hotel was well positioned to sights around town. The room was spacious compared to other hotels we stayed at however the common areas in the hotel is where they excelled. Great view of the Roman ruins from the first floor balcony area.

This was a nice stay after being pretty much confined to small B&B's so far on our Italy trip. We were upgraded to a fantastic 4-room suite. Breakfast was OK -expected better when the rest of the hotel was so good. Very well located with free parking onsite.

The positive about the hotel was the staff who were delightful. The waitress/ ran the bar and other jobs was great. She remember the drinks you like and have the drink poured before you asked for it. The room I was given was in the basement or Level -1. It was small especially the bathroom. Ask for a room on a higher level. The food for dinner was good and the breakfast was OK. Spoleto is an interesting town not overrun by tourist in May. For a short stay this hotel is welcoming and in a fairly quiet position.

    • A very average hotel

After staying at this hotel, Im quite puzzled at all the glowing reviews. At travel sites such as Expedia, this property is listed as a 4-star hotel. However, the quality is comparable to the very basic 2-star properties in the US. Our triple room had very hard beds with rock-hard pillows and absolutely no frills of any kind. The decor is depressingly bland and plain, highly utilitarian. Nothing wrong with the amenities and the room was perfectly clean, but nothing great either. The breakfast was well below average with very limited choices. The only redeeming quality is this hotels location, which offers walking distance access to the historic town attractions. Being able to walk the streets of downtown before most other tourists were up was great.

This hotel has good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. The bathroom was also a good size. The food was of good quality. Staff were helpful. This centrally placed hotel was conveniently placed for exploring the town.
