I stayed here two nights for a business trip. The room was fine, bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. Nice balcony with a sliding glass door off my room. I could hear the ocean waves at night. Depending on where your room is, you might also hear the nightly party on the pool deck. Which is fine for vacation. Not so great for a business trip. First night was karaoke and second night was a DJ. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options. The food at the cabana on the pier was pretty good, fish was a little dry but everything else was good. Wi-fi is terrible and only mildy accessible in common areas. Don't even bother trying to connect. Kayaks, SUP, and snorkel gear was free of charge and a nice amenity. The beach was nice, but small. Drinks were pricey for the amount you received in the glass. Many gap hours where food is not available, e.g., between breakfast and lunch, a small snack is served from 4-5pm, but nothing is open between lunch and dinner. Makes it tough since there inst really anything around and many places are randomly closed so you have to rely heavily on the open hours of the hotel restaurants if you don't have a car.

You can use the hotel pool and facilities but obviously pay for food and drinks

avoid this spot. everyone is rude. everything is ala carte including beach chairs and the pool. front desk is not helpful. rooms are tiny and the neighborhood is sketchy. the only positive we found was the dinner buffett was well done but definitely pricey .

    • Slow service, broken elevator, noisy

My cowers and I checked in here a few nights ago. The check in process took forever and the gentleman behind the desk was so slow, and not sure if he spoke very much English. By the time we got our room keys there was probably 10 people lined up behind us needing assistance. We had a ton of suitcases with us and found out the elevator was broken. (Only 1 elevator in the whole place.) so we all had to take trips going up and down 3 flights of stairs with heavy bags, after a long day of flying. The rooms were decent enough, clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice view from the balcony as well. My biggest issue was the noise, they were hosting a childrens Synchronized swimming tournament at the pool directly outside our rooms, until almost 11pm, complete with a yelling DJ, karaoke, and loud music. The Air conditioning also barely worked and my co worked called the front desk to ask for a fan and was told there werent any. We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel, and the view was gorgeous, but the service was soooo slow. Our waitress was very sweet but they seemed very short staffed. It took a really long time to get our food, and the guys said their soup tasted like spoiled fish. Our entrees were really good though, I got a tuna steak and was very happy with it.

We landed from Europe, so we needed a place to adapt to temperature and timezone, so we did choose this hotel. And it made it easy to adapt. Nice beach, good breakfast. The drinks where quite strong in the bar (no holding back on the booze). The room hade a sea/pool view and that was really good. Our french where not so good (at all really) and english was not working most of the time. But we made it through a week on guadeloupe, we can recommend this place.
