Hotel Jen is a great hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well designed. All the details check out. Very comfortable bed and pillows, USB sockets, soundproof, great city views,... Breakfast here is amazing. There is soooo much choice, both eastern and western dishes. Everything is fresh and there are several stands with chef who are preparing dishes on the spot. The breakfast ranks among the beat Ive ever had and in itself merits a visit to the hotel. The location is close to the subway. The hotel is a great choice when in Beijing!

I wouldnt say the room are luxurious but it has sort of a character. I feel happy to be back in the room. Its colourful and the bed is very comfy. There is a gym at level 5. It offers like free lessons for the guests to attend. The equipments are also very new and complete. Amazing place! The breakfast spread is also great!! The hotel is linked to the shopping Malls. A lot of other food options that are available. Quite pricey though.

The location of the hotel is stunning and we had a high room so we could see a lot from the great windows in the room. The reception service is not so kind at least we found someone who had some problems to explain us well all the things. We booked a room from booking site and then they told us that the room was not available cause they forgot to update booking - site and that it was a booking-site mistake. And is it my problem this? You hotel have to solve it so in the end they gave us another room that was not the room we booked and instead to offer us a better room cause of the mistake, they wanted us to make pay like 30 euros more for another room. Wretched!!! We needed 3 beds and what we booked had 3 beds but in the hotel they told that were just 2. What a mess! Anyway the room is clean and the bathroom really comfortable. The position is ok you have to walk like 10 minutes to get to the metro but in China everything is big so you spend a lot of time also if you want to go to buy something.

Loving having the easy access to the famous gym on the 2nd and 3rd floors. However, I wasn't keen on the small space at the check-in counters, while I was checking-in late at night (around 10:30pm on Sunday night), I had move around and avoid people coming in and out of the doors and into the building or at the famous live music bar on the ground floor. They should think about allocating space for hotel guests and bar guests...not everyone is a party-goer!!!

Our spacious Skyline King room was equipped with everything we wanted: plenty of power sockets, easily controlled air con, lighting and curtains, fridge, kettle. Bottled water, tea bags, fresh fruit and snacks were replenished daily. The bathroom featured a washbasin with lots of counter top and cupboard space, nice bath, walk-in shower and separate cubicle for the high-tech toilet. Soundproofing was excellent and we didnt hear any sounds from outside or from other rooms. There are 6 lifts so we never had to wait for one. Breakfast in the All Day Dining restaurant is comprehensive with various buffet stations - fruits, breads and pastries, dairy and meats - plus Asian as well as western-style cooking stations. Tea and coffee were delivered to our table. We particularly liked Brewsmith, the Jens large pub-style bar on the ground floor, which serves a wide range of good beers, wines and cocktails, as well as simple tasty food. There is also live music every night of the week, provided by their house band, which makes for a fun atmosphere. Check-in and checkout were efficiently handled. The hotel held our luggage for us on our last day and summoned us a taxi quickly when we returned. We mostly travelled around Beijing by the fast, cheap subway. The 2 nearest stations to the Jen can be reached by a 10 to 15 minute walk, completely under cover, through the glossy China World Mall, where there are plenty of restaurants as well as designer shops. I didnt use the extensive fitness facilities at the Jen but my husband liked the 2 gym areas he tried. The swimming pool is a large serious one. We were very pleased with our choice of the Jen for our 5 nights in Beijing and would not hesitate to stay there again. As a non-Chinese speaker, it was occasionally tricky to communicate with some of the members of staff, but we were always able to make ourselves understood in the end.
