    • Relaxing August break

Smaller set of apartments up a short walk from the shops/bars, very friendly hosts, great pool area beautifully kept - really lush and green. Ate and drank here over the week, prices comparable with other places, food - you get HUGE plates of it. Pool was a wonderful temperature. The only slight criticism I can have is please change the music a bit more often - after a week we even knew the order of the songs! We had a 2 bedroomed apartment ground floor, there are great shutters, insect shutters and also normal windows so you can take your pic. Air con is very efficient. Kitchenette - we didn't really use apart from the fridge and kettle tube honest - but there is plenty of cupboard space and glasses/plates etc. Very well run and they work so hard to please everyone - I would defo go back as it was so relaxing.

    • Great family run hotel

Edelweiss is a clean, comfortable & family run hotel. We loved the pool area & spent a lot of time with other families on holiday cooling off. The location is a short 5-10 minute walk from Argassi Main Street with lots of shops & great places to eat. Many tours of the island also do drop off & pickup from the Main Street. The only criticism of the hotel was that the beds were quite hard & uncomfortable but everything else was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

    • 2nd Visit and Still a Fantastic Hotel

We have just returned home after another great 2 week stay at the Edelweiss Hotel and we can't wait to go back again, in June 2020. My husband and I stayed at the Edelweiss in June 2017 for 2 weeks and fell in love with this beautiful hotel and its peaceful location. The family who own this hotel are so lovely, they make us feel valued and they really looked after us. They are the hardest working hoteliers that we have ever encountered! (We wanted to go back in 2018, but due to work commitments it wasn't possible). The hotel is spotless both inside and outside. The gardens and flowers are beautiful, and well looked after. There are plenty of sun loungers and brollies. They have pool towels if you need them. They have reduced the depth of the pool at the deep end which I loved, meaning I could just touch the bottom. The pool is always clean and well maintained. Elina and Sia the daughters of Mary and Dimitris, run and operate the Edelweiss professionally and nothing is too much trouble for them. Sia cooks fantastic food and we often ate lunch and evening meals there. On the evening menu, there is a family recipe beef dish which is amazing and after tasting it the first time, we even waited until it was ready another evening. Try the grilled cheese and tomato jam starter, its lovely. Dimitris and Mary are always around too and they are always doing jobs themselves. Considering the heat (40oc) it amazes me how they do it. The location of the Edelweiss is perfect, it is just a 5 to 10 minute walk into the centre of Argassi. The majority of guests are English and Dutch, which is great. The Dutch are such lovely people and we even met the 4 Dutch ladies who we met in 2017! This just shows how many repeat guests they have. We also met some great English couples and families who were visiting the Edelweiss for the first time and who said that they would definitely return. This just shows how special the Edelweiss is. This year we had a 2 bedroom apartment with a good functional kitchen, a kitchen table and chairs, a big balcony with furniture and a view of the sea in the distance. I am not going to give away what the room number was, as we want the same room next year! However saying this: We have already requested the same room for next year! We will always recommend the Edelweiss Hotel to others, as if you want a quiet, peaceful holiday, in a clean and friendly environment, then this is what you will get if you stay here. It is suitable for the elderly, couples and families with very young children.

This is a cracking hotel if you like your holidays quiet.A short walk to the town but far enough away to be peaceful.Cracking pool and managed beautifully by the family. We stayed in room 201 ,massive balcony and sun from noon till sunset. Food is excellent at the hotel but a little expensive , but with the exchange rate everything seems a little expensive.. Always sunbeds available around the pool.

    • Great apartment

We really enjoyed our week staying at Edelweiss Hotel. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and were in room 201 on the first floor. The apartment is in a great location away from the main road but with a shortcut through to all the restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The food in the hotel was very good and we tried breakfast and lunch there with snacks and drinks every day. Its more expensive than some places but great quality on your doorstep. They were starting a weekly bbq for the summer which sounds like a great idea. Both bedrooms were large with a double bed in 1 and 2 singles in the other. They both had air con, although we didnt need it at the end of May and left the sliding door in our room open instead. There were shutters which locked and sliding doors of netting to keep out flies. Given its location near the countryside there was a fair amount of noise from cockerels which started around 3.30/4am when it was still dark! The noise was minimised when we closed the doors and Im sure the whirr of the air con would block it out too if hot. Both bedrooms have access to a huge balcony overlooking the pool. It gets he sun later in the afternoon and was a lovely place to relax day and night. The bathroom was a good size with a small bath and shower attachment. Having visited other parts of Greece I was surprised to find the shower had a curtain. The kitchenette was basic with kettle, fridge and a 2 ring electric hob which was enough to fix breakfast and snacks and we ate out most of the time as we had planned. We visited in school half term and were surprised that the hotel and Argassi town did not seem very busy. There were about half a dozen children around the pool and plenty of free sun beds throughout the day. The pool was cleaned every night, sun beds & umbrellas in good condition and area around the pool clean and tidy. The people working at the hotel were very helpful and friendly and Id recommend a stay.
