      Worst housekeeping ever! We stayed 2 nights, housekeeping didnt visit our room during our stay. We found Pizza in the fridge from the pre ious tenants (it was dated), and found. Baby sippie cup with curdled liquid in it hidden from sight near one of the bed bases. When I informed the front desk they just looked at me like I was from Mars. I work hard for my money and I expect a lot more for a $150+ per night establishment. I was disgusted to say the least

      The rooms are clean but dated, and had the worst/cheapest shampoo and lotion. The breakfast buffet is kinda funky and not worth eating. The wifi is suuuuuper slow. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel has an airport shuttle. An average stay for a business trip.

    • Worst Marriott Product I Have Ever Experienced

      I was traveling for business in March and arrived a few days earlier to visit friends in the area. I chose the hotel for it's proximity to my needs, food service on site, Marriott brand and great price offer. I first attempted to book the nearby Best Western Plus, but it was sold out. I should have instead selected the Sonesta ES Suites in nearby Eagan, but instead ended up at this run down hotel with virtually no guest service. I'll keep it brief ... avoid it. I booked a standard room and was assigned a handicapped accessible room, which had a worn out bed (sagged), broken bathroom light, no tub, broken electrical outlet and was dirty. When I asked after check-in about another room, I was told there were none. The first morning of my stay, I spoke to a man at the front desk who took down my maintenance orders - none were fixed. Returning in the evening, I asked the bartender for a menu (like the one advertised and still promoted in my room) and was told "we have frozen pizza". She then offered me some take-out menus. Off to the mall I went for dinner. There was good staff - the van driver early in the day was very professional! The one in the evening just did his job. The breakfast attendant was working hard trying to keep up. The WiFi worked only AFTER I called the 800 number so they could reset the connection. Front Desk staff was horrific. Never once did they greet guests, often they were folding laundry and just looked dismal to even be at their jobs. The last chance for the hotel to care was check-out. I handed my keys to the desk clerk and she said "you're all set". Not thank you, not how was your stay, not have a nice day, nothing! Zero hospitality! This was my first ever stay at a SpringHill Suites, and also my last. I'm sure they cannot all be this bad, but I would have been better off anywhere else. And why would I risk choosing this chain again?

      We enjoyed a 3 night stay in one of the Queen Suites - everything was excellent! The rooms were spacious and facilities were exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable. The pool was a welcome "energy burn" for our 5 and 10 y/o's at the end of the day - pool is on the small side, but we aren't training for the Olympics, so it was perfectly fine for wearing out little people. ;) We were never bothered by noise, from other guests, staff or the nearby airport (and we were on the 5th floor) - other guests may just be extremely light sleepers if airport traffic disturbed them. Maybe most impressive was the breakfast offerings and attendant - there were choices for everyone! Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Ham, Melon, Fresh Fruit, Oatmeal, Waffles, Toast, Muffins...etc, etc, etc., but Paul the attendant went over and beyond to meet the special needs of every guest, he was HOPPIN!!! Recommend this hotel very highly and will stay here again when in the Minneapolis area!!

      This is a clean comfortable hotel very close to the Mall of America and the airport. We booked a room here last minute due to a snowstorm that kept us in town for an extra day. Overall the stay was nice, and we had a shuttle to the airport which was very convenient. The only 2 negatives were that there was no on-site restaurant, and the desk service from one person was not very friendly at all. Everyone else was very friendly and helpful, but one gentlemen seemed uninterested in helping or even acknowledging the customers.
