The hostel is located just few minutes from the beach. the street is very quiet and safe by day and night, also easily accessible by public transportation. It is a very good location. The staff and managers are adorable, attentive and very professional (especially compared to other nearby hostel). Motorbike and laundry available and good wifi. The room are clean, every bed in dormitory has curtains and saftybox. The price is a great value for this high quality.

Lots of women in neighborhood to date for short time. Clean lots of water to drink. At night lots of noise until 2200 but then quite quiet for sleeping with your girl friend. Good food and bum gun no toilet paper

    • A nice place to stay close to the see

Nice clean rooms with a shower, toilet and a shell. Comfortable beds with curtains. One night a prostitute was sitting near the lobby and offered me to spend a night with her. Obviously, she works together with the staff and pays the hostel to be able to advertise her services there. The receptionist man was gloomy-looking with so tired and upset face. He wasnt really eager to help answering my how-to-get-to questions. It seemed like someone woke him up, kicked him below his back and forced him to work for food. The hostel is about 2 minutes walk to the see - thats a really good point. The place is surrounded by miscellaneous shops and cafes with good food.

    • Awoke to thief in room

I had an awful stay at this property. While Im having difficulty placing the responsibility of management in all of this, I decided that my experience alone warrants a negative review because of safety concerns in the area and on the property. I was staying on the 3rd floor and the patio was facing the back of the property, an area with trees. After staying for two weeks, I had a really bad night. I awoke in the middle of the night and heard a plastic bag rustle and thought maybe an animal was in my room. I picked up my phone and shined the light towards the bags. I then heard footsteps coming towards my bed and saw a shadow. I yelled out and the person ran out my patio window and must have climbed down some rails in the back. This shook me up as I could have been hurt. They were able to fish all of the cash out of my wallet (about $150 US) but did not take my cards or electronics (likely because they ran out of time). Management does not speak English and did nothing except shrug and stare at video cameras that do not capture the back of the property (only inside). Not sure if I was targeted since I was the only Westerner around and Im curious to know how the thief knew which room to hit. If you go, make sure to lock your sliding door as someone will likely end up at your patio in the middle of the night. I accept my partial responsibility due to forgetting to latch my patio door, but it is unnerving to know that if you stay in this property, people are scoping you out and people are walking around patios and checking doors while you are in bed. They need better security around the back of the property. I could not understand the front desk staff but he seemed to be pointing to a disconnected camera like maybe it was supposed to capture the back of the property? Whatever the case, it was not functioning. Aside from the thief, the room was decent value but staff was not very available and often away from the front desk. Checking out early, I could not even negotiate for a refund due to language issues. Since I paid upfront, I lost a lot of money. This was an awful experience. Not only do I not recommend this place, but recommend staying in an area of town that is safer. I saw one solo female traveler checking in before this event occurred. I dont recommend solo female travelers stay here.

Excellent facility overall. Great management team! Free drinking water, excellent balcony views and you can see the sea from the upper floor balconies on one side and garden views from the other side of the building. Excellent location and great to get a good night's sleep!
