We recently spent 4 nights at Kurrajong House. Fabulous place to stay in Launceston, great position, so handy to everything. Linda and Andre are fabulous hosts, so accommodating, fabulous breakfasts and couldn't be more helpful.

We just had 4 nights at Kurrajong House - a home full of character and characters. We stayed in the Emily room - beautiful room and the bed was very comfortable. Linda and Andr were perfect hosts, great stories and great food. Very helpful with where to go and what to see. If we ever get back to Launceston we would not hesitate to stay there again. We would highly recommend

We stayed 3 nights at Kurrajong House on our recent trip to Tassie. What a gorgeous & charming place. Due to booking quite late & on Easter weekend, we had to split our 3 nights between 2 rooms. We had 2 nights in the Rose Cottage, and our last night in the Emily Heritage King Room. Linda is the lady of the house, and will greet you in all her adorable & welcoming nature. Together with Andre, their hospitality, charm, wit & humour won us over. Let's not forget about the place! All details throughout have been thought of. The house & cottage are beautifully restored, decorated and immaculately clean (I wiped some water off the floor & the paper came up white. On another occasion we personally saw Andre on his knees scrubbing a bathroom floor in one of the rooms!). The rooms are very inviting, comfortable & each have en-suites. The Cottage is its own little place separate to the main house. There is ample cupboard space for your things, beautiful big comfy beds with glamorous bed linen, a fully-equipped modern kitchen in the cottage, gorgeous bathrooms with big-size yummy smelling toiletries, comfy lounges to enjoy a cuppa after a big day, coffee/tea/milk & cookies in each room, and parking on the premises. There is a lounge area with a fireplace where the breakfast room is at the front of the main house. The house is on a quiet residential street about 6 mins drive into downtown Launceston, and has it's own little road that runs along the actual road, so it sits in further from the street. Linda & Andre host breakfast in the mornings, with both hot & cold options available, all served in a quaint ambience with a side of their hospitality. We adored them... they are personable, friendly, knowledgeable and hilarious! For us it felt like visiting friends, and we felt totally at home here on all levels. In a world of airbnb, please bring back these delightful Bed & Breakfasts! We whole-heartedly recommend their place!
