The hotel is well located and near almost everything in downtown Boston. The staff was friendly and helpful (especially Corey the concierage) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My wife had an 80 minutes massage which was once of her best ever. The attached shopping mall is a big plus.

This hotel has it all-very welcoming staff, beautiful rooms especially the bathrooms, and great location. It is hard to think about staying elsewhere. There are two wonderful golden retrievers in the lobby to greet you and say hello. A big plus is the am run lead by the incredibly friendly general manager Philippe on Mon, Weds and Fri. The hotel is also environmentally concerned providing paper cups instead of plastic for complimentary coffee, tea and flavored water in the lobby. Can't say enough about this hotel. And for business travelers, there is even a mini office work station with supplies like paper clips, highlights, and scissors!

    • Exceptional service

Ive had the pleasure of staying at numerous Mandarin Oriental properties over the years (Hong Kong, Singapore, etc) and some of the worlds finest five star properties (Bulgari Bali etc) so I have a decent point of reference - and I can say that the front office staff, concierge and bell staff at this property are world class and really exceptional: pleasant, genuine, friendly, courteous and extremely capable. As one example, we had a dietary need that wasnt available from the hotel kitchen. The bell staff immediately ran to a nearby grocery store, picked it up and delivered it to the room without our asking. Thats service! I was also impressed to see the GM periodically working from a desk in the corner of the lobby where he could observe the goings-on first hand. Again, an exceptional eye for detail and outstanding service. His two dogs (golden retrievers?) are a warm and cozy addition to the lobby bringing a very welcome touch of personality and a warm, homey feel to a fine property. The room (Premiere Suite) was clean, spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Food service is also top rate. Ive stayed at the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton in this town as well including the Presidential suite at the RC. Both other properties are also excellent; however we will likely stay at the Mandarin going forward. It feels newer and the neighborhood is filled with restaurant and shopping options including nearby Newbury Street and the Prudential. Great property. Great team. Clearly strong leadership. Well done. Well be back.

We recently stayed at The Mandarin Oriental Boston and were not disappointed. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we were highly impressed. Fantastic service on the front desk, the room (Deluxe King) was large and extremely comfortable, breakfast was delicious with a buffet and menu selection daily. A special shout out to Corey Lopez who offered amazing assistance on the Concierge desk offering advise on where to go and restaurant recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to your team for making our stay such a good one.
