Amazing facilities in hidden quiet area in Moshi. Staffs in front desk were very kind. Breakfirst is simple but enough to start my day. Driver & guide Mr.Bob was very helpful during our stay. He speaks very clear English and has perfect international manners. I appreciate that I started my holiday with More Than A Drop!

    • Amazing BnB to stay in Moshi

Wow! This has been one of the best places weve ever stayed on a budget. Located a bit out of town, the surrounding nature and best views of Kili in all of Moshi is the perfect place to relax. It is easy to catch the local transport from the main road to town (less than 5 minutes) and is well worth staying outside the core of Moshi. All the girls who work there are friendly and accommodating. We only had 2 nights booked but booked for another night because we loved it so much. And the food is absolutely amazing. The homemade pasta is the best food weve had since being in Africa (3 months). Dont miss this place if you get an opportunity to stay here. Plus there is a local pub a few hundred meters up the road which is a great place to make friends with the local people!

Stayed for two nights. We were put in a villa next door to the b&b, which was very nice but when we were shown to it, we were not told we would be sharing with other people. It turned out they were a lovely couple and we got in great, but it could have been different, which wouldve awkward. The villa had three bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and fridge. The room I had was adequate, but the shower was terrible, water went everywhere, and at one point I saw a spark from it, so didnt really trust it. I looked behind the bed and it was filthy, didnt look like it had been cleaned in ages. One big problem, they only gave us one set of keys, so I had to get up very early to let the other couple out of the gate when they left at 6.30 am, also awkward for going anywhere. It made things inconvenient. Need to sort another key, and cleaning the villa a little better. Very good value though at 55USD a night for a couple.

You really feel welcomed when you go to More than a Drop. Everybody there does everything that can be done to make you appreciate your visit. All the young girls working there are smiley, amiable and make sure you have everything you need. The first morning, I got up very late and they just extended the time of breakfast for me so I could eat. Millie stayed in the dining room waiting for me for two hours. Before she left, she introduced me to Asana who would be of service in the evening. Very nice touch. The room was clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The shared bathroom was also very clean. It is only 2 km away from downtown Moshi and offers a much quieter environment. And the view of the Kilimanjaro in the morning is spectacular. They also offer different half-day activities, but I didnt try any. Finally, I had a meal at the restaurant at night. It was delicious. It is a charitable institution which helps girls from villages to learn how to work on the hospitality services, i was told. I strongly recommend.

Me and my aunt choose this place because we heard its run as an non- profit organisation to educate young (unfortunate) girls so they can have a training in hotel/ restaurang business. This way they can have a job after this training which is 1 year. Absolutely amaizing!! Any time I have the possibility to support this kind of work Im in! The room was very nice and decorated, simple but very clean with mosquito net. The girls and the manager was so friendly and great! The view from the restaurant in the morning looking face to face at Mount Kilimanjaro was stunning. The breakfast that was included in the price was a real highlight, they served home made jams of passionfruit, mango and guacamole along with toast, lots of fresh fruits and great Coffee!
