    • Thin walls, no sleep in a private or a dorm room

You won't get to sleep until past 2 every night. Sign says don't make noise beyond 10 but they'll blast music till 4. It's common to have a drunk party kid run into your dorm and shout, scream and pass out before repeating it again 20 minutes later. And of course there are no curtains on the beds so every time the harsh lights are turned on your awake again. Staff will purposely try and rent you a scooter knowing you'll get pulled over by the police for not having a licence. Breakfast is overpriced and tiny. If you want a party hostel you'd better be able to keep up with the staff. Every night. you're not sleeping.

    • Very fine hostel

The hostel was very nice. Clean and plenty of opportunity to do activities. The location is fine too despite the hill. Staff was urgent in the morning in terms of cleaning - could improve a bit there.

My overall experience was very good, it is good craic and very cheap to stay and clean. However, two female staff members were acting very unprofessional towards us, making us feel excluded and unwanted. In my opinion this is very unprofessional and would make me question about coming back here again.

    • Fun parties, good happy hour, friendly western staff

Fun hostel with a lovely pool and cool water jacuzzi which has a great view. There are lots of activities in the evening organised to have fun and meet other people, like beer pong and a pillow fight in the pool. The drinks were tasty, and so was the food. The only downside would be the local staff. I understand that sometimes in Vietnam there is a chilled atmosphere, but 4 staff stood at the bar doing nothing whilst I wait ten minutes for a breakfast menu isn't great. Once I'd ordered, I managed to finish my breakfast before my drink arrived. There was noone else waiting for a drink so I'm not sure what took so long. Also, a woman behind the bar with short hair was very rude and abrupt... not sure why she is in customer service. Luckily there were a couple of teenage local waiters that were smiley and helpful, and a western lad named Andy that was very attentive and welcoming. Overall I did enjoy my stay, and the few lovely staff definitely made up for the not-so-great ones.
