I found the hotel to be spotlessly clean Breakfast was basic but healthy African food loads of juice and coffee and of course the omelette cooked exactly how you want it The rooms were basic but spacious and clean bed was very comfortable The staff were very professional warm and friendly Miriam the lovely lady at reception was very helpful and always had a smile.. The Waitress Brenda... Looked after us especially well with serving our food and bringing our Beer Evening meals were nice and could not be faulted Point to note.. Paying for food and drinks here is priced in US Dollars... If you want to pay in Tanzania Shillings they will convert for you but the rate is a small bit less than a bank We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back on our next climb GRAHAM TOBIN VENTURE2ADVENTURES.COM

Terrible confusion between payment in USD or Shilling for the dinner (buffet). Not good and not appreciated. A very bad smell coming sometimes from the bathroom. I stayed on the 1st floor and it was very surprising to notice that. The hotel water was not automatic in my bathroom too. I had to request it before have it. It's like the system is elsewhere and off so they have to turn it ON before.

This resort is situated just outside the city of Moshe. It consists of a central hotel building and several cottages. From the roof you have a nice view of the Mount Kilimanjaro in the mornings. The general impression is quite nice with a lot of lush greens and a small swimming pool. There are just a handful of deckchairs so not many people can use the pole at the same time. The cottages are in small buildings two and two. The room is quite spacious with a large bed and not so much more furniture; just a small desk, a hard chair and bench for your suitcases. There are large glass areas covered with very beautifully curtains. The cupboard is enough but not more. The bathroom is large and facilitated with a nice shower with both one overhead nozzle and a traditional lose one. Which is just as I and my wife prefer it. However, the guys that did the fitting of the very beautifully washing basin did made a huge mistake then they put it so close the door that it is hard to squeeze in the room. The number of towels is limited to one each and there are no hocks or bars to hang your towels or anything else on. The breakfasts are not very nice nor the dinners. The staff are generally nice and try to do their job as best as they can still, there are odd things that we did not get glasses for more than half of the guests at our dinner. And one in our company order a glass of white wine at the bar and was served something that even look very old and tasted as vinegar. When she did not want it and complained they still put the box back in the cupboard with this stuff that you no longer could call wine. So, in total this resort has some very nice things and some not so nice things, but the food and drink are not their best branch.
