    • Great location and lots of dining options

      Great location and staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Location is great right next to a mall and lots of dining options. We would stay again. I totally forgot to take pictures of the room and hotel however its very pretty

      This is a great option next to many amenities: shops and restaurants. The rooms are of a very high standard, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. There is a restaurant for breakfast but it is not a very quick service and quite expensive. I think the restaurant could be improved by having a buffet offering to accommodate requests for a quick breakfast. The hotel is a good choice for a first visit to Tampa, being very central and having pod rooms, however they used to provide shuttle services to the airport and no longer do. This is poor as many hotels provide this service.

      Spent 6 days on family vacation and it was a great choice. So many Positives: excellent location right next to an upscale mall with tons of shopping and restaurants and near the major highways. Also, close to Clearwater Beach (about 30 min drive) and other major attractions (Legoland 40 min), Dali Museum in St Pete, Busch Gardens right in Tampa, and Universal/Disney in Orlando is 1.5 hours so yes, we hit them all. As for the Hotel property: it is in great shape with updated, very clean and comfy rooms. The staff at front desk was very courteous. The restaurant staff was also very nice and friendly and the food is excellent. We also used the concierge lounge as a Titanium Elite for breakfast a couple of times and Elaine, one of the attendants was a delight and very attentive. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were awesome treats. Overall, we couldnt ask for a better stay. Thank you!!

      My wife and I booked a suite for our anniversary and were excited to spend the night in this beautiful hotel. We got there early and were told that our suite would be ready in an hour or just over an hour. We went to the pool and came back to the front desk two hours later. We were then told that our room would be at least another hour because no one "executed the request properly." We waited another hour in our wet bathing suites and were approached by staff and told that they had overbooked the suite and that we would not get our room until at least 5:30 or 6:00 pm but they could not promise a time even though the check-in time had long past. They gave us a regular room and told us we would get a full refund. We went out to dinner and then decided to leave without spending the night. We were never issued a refund because our reservation was through a third party but we have talked to Expedia and have been told that a hotel can still refund the money collected which is done all the time when the hotel is at fault. I contacted the general manager, Jim Bartholomay, for a second time and he has continued to ignore me. Someone at the hotel emailed me again and said they would put points into my marriott rewards account equal to a regular night stay in a regular room. We paid for a suite and got nothing and this is their solution? Of course, I still don't have the points. These people don't care that they ruined my anniversary, they gave us very poor customer service by misleading us about when our room would be ready on several occasions and they basically stole money from us because we paid for a suite and were given a regular room. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

      Thank You Claire, Front Desk, for excellent service and generous upgrade and amenities. The location is convenient to the airport but an airport shuttle would be most helpful. The property is very beautifully appointed as well as the rooms.
