    • Excellent Hotel and about $150 a night less than Burlingtons Marriott

We had to change our reservation from the Marriott in Burlington and couldnt get a room for our new date. We decided to stay at the Residence Inn and we were thrilled with it. The room was very nice - as expected, and the staff was very friendly. It was about a seven minute drive to Burlington, but well worth the $150 per night we saved from our previous reservation. The Convenience of being in downtown Burlington is nice, but at what cost? I found a parking meter, put my $5 in and life was good.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for two nights and we were very impressed with the outstanding customer service from the manager Andrew and his staff. We are Platinum with Marriott, have stayed at many properties worldwide and this is one of the best ever!

Air Canada cancelled my flight from Boston to Montreal, and recommended that I drive instead of fly. I decided to give it a shot. After several hours on the road, I realized it would be wise to stop for the night. I chose to stay at this Residence Inn at the last minute, and was pleased with my choice. The location was mostly convenient - right off the highway. The downside was that there werent any restaurants nearby that the front desk could recommend for a late dinner. However, the refrigerator at the front desk was sufficiently stocked, and the full kitchen in the room enabled me to cook my own quick but satisfying meal. The room was spacious. There would have been plenty of space for a small family. It was also very clean and contemporary. Front desk service was friendly and efficient. This hotel will have me thinking twice about flying between Boston and Montral again.

    • Best Value for Burlington

If you want absolute convenience, you might consider staying at the Marriott Courtyard in downtown Burlington. It's within walking distance of Church Street, Waterfront Park and any number of restaurants. It also comes with a price tag, breakfast not included, and less than convenient access to highways out of town. This trip we decided to stay at the Residence Inn in Colchester. The room cost significantly less, came with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and included breakfast. More space, more amenities and if you drive to Burlington via routes 2 and 7 and not the highway, a very easy hop to anything downtown. Add to that immediate access to I89 for going north or south to other destinations, the Colchester Residence Inn is a great value. And like most Marriott properties we have stayed at, the staff is welcoming and professional, the rooms are clean and inviting. We have added this lodging as our future residence whenever we return to the Burlington area.
