      I was very pleased with the location of the hotel because it was within walking distance to the museum, library and Back-bay. Our stay was comfortable and the staff promptly fixed any issues or problems we had. There were some good places to eat in the area, and convenience stores close by. The decor of the hotel was pretty. The only downside was the expensive parking, but thats a part of Boston! Would definitely recommend this hotel because of the comfort, good location and complimentary breakfast. Also enjoyed their rooftop with a variety of teas and coffees around the clock!

      Excellent location, not as crowded but centric, beautiful and within walking distance of Fenway Park, MFA and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Having a kitchen works really well if you want to save a little money on food, fridge and microwave come really handy; you have a Marshall's just across the street and Target a street away for anything you might need. However, there were some issues: During our 3 day/2 night stay one of the elevators was out of service which made commuting at breakfast time a little crowded; the conditioner pump wouldn't work, 10 pumps for a pea size of conditioner..., While in the pool, one of the underwater lights, turned on, started floating in the water, the first hotel representative touch the water and since he didn't electrocuted he said it was ok. The second person came and tried pulling the cord, said it was protected. There were to children waiting to get back in the pool and the fact that they didn't care about leaving a lit lamp hanging at the edge of the pool with the cable exposed and didn't even try to turn the pool lights off really worried me. Getting in the pool and put it back in place? I guess it wasn't an option either.

      Stayed at this location for 5 nights! The hotel was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again! Great location, a couple of blocks from Fenway.

      Just got back from a stay here as we were going to see a concert at the House of Blues. This was a 6 or 7 minute walk from there. The location was perfect and I really think this would be ideal if you were going to a game or event at Fenway, too! Area seemed very safe and there were many restaurants and ATMs within walking distance. I've stayed at many Marriotts and I have to say, Julio was probably the friendliest and most helpful employee we have ever encountered. He checked us in right away, made sure we had our complimentary upgrade from the rewards program without us asking ( I've found a lot of hotels don't do it unless I ask for it), and even called us after we got up to the room to make sure it was to our satisfaction (it was). He even remembered our names the next day which I was really impressed with. His hospitality made our stay very pleasant! The hotel itself was pretty much what I expected of a Residence Inn. It seemed safe and clean and the rooms were convenient, especially with the sofa bed and kitchen. I knew Marriott had gotten rid of the mini shampoo, conditioner, and body washes but this is the first time I experienced it for myself during one of my stays. Honestly, I like this setup better and am happy Marriott is taking steps to reduce needless waste. I also really liked the view from the rooftop bar, and they even had some outdoor heating to make sure everyone was comfortable. I didn't realize there was an outdoor bar so that was a nice surprise. My only complaint of the hotel is that they haven't switched to the in app key for the rooms, but that's just something some of the other Marriotts have spoiled me with. Overall, a very nice stay and we will be sure to visit again if we are in the area, especially if we ever go to a game at Fenway.

      Very warm reception , welcome breakfast with early check in. Big room very well equipped ( I rather have bigger TV screen ) Friendly polite team. Ill be happy to come back. Good neighborhood, lot of shops around.
