    • Superb Hotel

This was our 4th time to stay here so it must have something very special to bring us back again and again and it does , the pool, the people, the facilities and the location. The pool is probably the cleanest pool I have ever swam in, the owner and his son Juan clean the pool every night and they take great pride in it. It is a small honest family run hotel and yes it is not 5 star but offers so much more than some 5 stars I have stayed in. The location is great just outside Cuenca but a car is a must. There is no A/C but at the height of summer July 19 we did not need it and the room was very comfortable and purposeful. We originally discovered this hotel / Cuenca on a stop over to Valencia but it is now our go to place in Spain and very reasonable. If sitting by a pool all day with very few distractions is your thing then this is the place to be. will be back again next summer if not before

Horrible hotel ........... super dusty, paper thin walls so extremely noisy, curtains so thin may as well not had any at all. To get any sleep eye masks and ear plugs are a must. There is only one plug socket in the entire room and all the towels had holes in them. 2 star hahaha its expensive for 2 star!!

Remarkable place in an area rich in trees. It is a fully enclosed hacienda with high-tech fingerprint scanning device to get acces to the premises. Very safe for families with children. Adult couples that appreciate their rest, can chose for an accommodation building where children have no acces to. Rural Arco Iris advertises on booking.com and states that the rooms are acoustically silenced. Although that may true for some rooms, we experienced that even in the adult accommodation there is a high noise level from adjacent rooms. At 60 per night we do not want to complain- although on the trips that we have done now through Spain -by comparison- we found better deals which we would visit again. RAI does not have air conditioning in the rooms. RAI has a beautiful large swimming pool but there are no sun beds. That reduces the invitation; pitty. We feel this hotel is great for families with children.

Stayed for one night on a quest to visit the beautiful Unesco city of Cuenca. Great little resort, stayed in a 2 bed cottage which was lovely. Tastefully decorated, spotless and had every facility you could need. Pool is big and surrounded by pretty gardens. Loads for kids footie, ping pong, park, think you can get equipment from reception. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had breakfast which was fine, no other catering facilities apart from vending so take supplies. We got a taxi into Cuenca for 11 euros. Would definately stay again and for longer it was a real change the cool breezes wafting the smell of pine trees wonderful.
