The hotel offers a luxurious central building with bars in different floors and elegant seating spaces. The swimming pools are large and fortunately there was no competition for the sunbeds. Buffet breakfast is endless and outside seating makes for a pleasant experience before temperature rises. Buffet dinner is of really high standard and for all tastes and diets. Make sure to arrive hungry because the food is delicious! Everyone greeted us with a smile and offered great service at restaurants. The staff at reception, however, didn't do a great job informing guests. Firstly, we were not notified about the dress code for dinner until we entered the restaurant. The hotel has a sexist policy that obliges men to wear (long) trousers and shoes while women may wear as they please. Secondly, they didn't inform us that the charges for wifi in room are per device. 7 EUR per person per day. Outrageous. Finally, having paid for full board with drinks. It feels cheap not to include water or coffee in room.

The club is situated on the sports area of the hotel. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The courts are new and the staff is very friendly. It's a lovely place to play with friends, relax or have a padel lesson. It is one of our favourite padel clubs on the island.

Had seen this hotel on a previous visit to the area and thought it would be a good option for our next visit. Yes, the majority of guests are German but that wasn't a problem at all. The reception staff were very helpful from the outset and made us feel welcome when we arrived quite late on the first night. We also left late on our last day and we were given a room to shower and change in at no extra charge, all we had to do was ask! We felt this was a great service The food is quite good for a buffet and there is a varied choice each night. We only had one issue with our table booking, as we arrived late we had to take the second seating for our first night. We asked to change this to the earlier seating for the rest of our stay, we were told yes no problem but it still took time to sort it out the next night, which meant a 20mins wait. (No big deal apart from being made to feel it was our fault by the restaurant manager, not sure I saw him smile all week!). Breakfast is great and loved the fact you could have a glass (or several!) of Prosecco along with your coffee The pool areas are excellent and plenty of sun loungers for everyone, there is also a separate area with sand if you didn't want to walk the extra few metres to the beach! We had quite a big room on the front with a great seaview, although they could do with being updated. We did notice some of the rooms wouldn't have any view as they had our part of the building in their way! Be very careful when you chose a room if you want a view, don't pick those with 'side seaview' as the view is minimal. So overall a very relaxing holiday, you can walk for miles along the beach and snorkling and windsurfing are close by. Would recommend having a car to explore further than Costa Calma, gives you more choice of things to visit and do Would recommend a visit to this hotel if you wanted a quiet and relaxing holiday, but its not an exciting place!

Be prepared this Hotel is 90% German. But that did not bother us or did not indent on our holiday. We thought the reception could of given more details out how the restaurant works and seating arrangements we found out the hard way you keep the same table for evening meal for your stay. It is a very grand hotel on entry then once at the reception you find out that free WiFi is only at reception floor and then a 20 yard range of the desk for a hotel of this standing come on give us free WiFi in the rooms, you can buy WiFi at 25 Euro per device for the room whats the point just buy extra data. Then you get to the rooms very nice clean good balcony and view make a cup of coffee or tea thats extra 1 Euro per cup. Top tip theres a Spar shop just out side a small jar of Nescaf is 1 Euro and milk is 1.50 Euro. Here is the big one they still serve peanuts with drinks we had our 17 year old son with us who has a server allergy cross contamination was always a threat to him we made the rep aware and the hotel but they still continue to do it. I must admit I thought this practice had stopped. Now the good stuff the pool was great there is a sandy area the full length of the hotel with sun loungers which is very convenient to leave your bags to go and explore the beach and you will, the food was great and not at any time did we feel pushed for space the good thing about this hotel is its size two big pools loads of out door space. Would I go again yes we would
