    • Best location in Mui Ne

Terrific one week stay at Sunsea Resort, Mui Ne. The rooms, although not spacious, are quite comfortable and the gardens and surrounds are extremely well maintained. Sunsea probably enjoys one of the best beach locations in Mui Ne. The outstanding highlights though are the Sukhothai Resturant and the pools. Hard to imagine a better setting for a restaurant and a great menu selection and quality of food. The beachside infinity pool is to dream for and the garden pool, right outside your door is welcoming and refreshing. Didnt venture into other Mui Ne restaurants or resorts because we were so content at Sunsea. No hesitation in recommending Sunsea Resort to any prospective visitors to Mui Ne.

We were due to spend 12 days at a resort weve stayed at for our last two holidays in Mui Ne but due to a change of owners and management we found things not quite as friendly as we were used to, subsequently we checked out after only two nights. After some research via TripAdvisor we wandered into Sunsea and after an inspection of the property we were amazed at the layout of the resort and the room we were shown ( garden view executive room) so we checked in for the next ten nights, couldnt be happier with the service at reception. Everything about the place was first class, as our good friends at Vietjourney said once five star property at four star price. We met the owner one evening after a wonderful dinner at the Sukhothai restaurant and he explained his philosophy on how he achieved such a peaceful ambience throughout the resort and its all about harmony he said, well I can certainly tell you it shows through the staffs attitude and the way the propertys maintained. Couldnt recommend this resort enough, small enough to have that personal touch but big enough not to be overcrowded. Well definitely be back on our next visit to Mui ne.

Had planned to spend 12 nights at Mui Ne at a resort we had stayed at twice before. However a change of ownership and management had altered the whole ambience and environment of the resort. After two nights we had had enough and ended up inspecting rooms at Sunsea. What a great find, fabulous value for money and very peaceful and quiet. Great attention to detail and everything immaculate. Food at the restaurant was delicious and fresh with the prices quite reasonable for a resort. However, there is easy access to nearby local vendors and small restaurants where the food is cheaper. During our 10 nights at Sunsea we felt as if we were the only guests there, as the resort is planned in such a way as to provide privacy for guests. We were lucky enough to meet the owner on our last night and he shared his philosophy of providing harmony and peacefulness in the resort, an aim that was certainly achieved. Would not hesitate to go back again next year.

We had a pool view suite overlooking the pool. The Rome was very large, beautifully laid out, comfortable with a huge soaker tub and rain shower. The resort was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. While it fronted main street it was extremely quiet, the beach was lovely and the sunrises were awesome. We have been travelling SE Asia for 22 years and this is the best we haver ever encountered. Breakfast is from a menu with excellent choices including some of the best pho ba. Staff were wonderful. This place is 5 star all the way in our opinion. We previously stayed at the Mia Mui Ne and the sunsea has it beat hands down and is considerably cheaper,

Nice quiet hotel with few guests. Has 2 outdoor pools and is located directly by the ocean. At the same time is in the middle of the village, so there are many restaurants and shops nearby. Pool view suite is very spacious room with big balcony and big bathroom. Has a good clean beach infront of the hotel, probably the best part of the beach. As the beach in one end is rocky and dirty infront of the big hotels and the other half has no sand at all, has only large plastic bags that protect the beach from waves. Negative is that the staff does not understand english. And prices in the restaurants are 3x higher, then in the restaurants on the street. If the difference had been a little smaller, we would have eaten in the hotel restaurant, the atmosphere was very cozy, but not for that money.
