    • Lovely Cimon

      Reviewed 25 August 2019

Enjoyed our 4 nights here and couldnt fault The Cimon...the whole guesthouse was spotlessly clean and very welcoming by the hosts and various staff. The breakfast in a morning has a amazing choice of freshly prepared fruit to choose from and my husband enjoyed the cooked breakfast every morning. The weather wasnt kind to us while there and would have enjoyed the outdoor pool if it had. A lovely relaxing break and would love to stay again.

    • Summer Break At The Cimon

      Reviewed 24 August 2019

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at The Cimon. Our hosts where really nice and friendly. Our room was compact however very clean. Breakfast consisted of a continental choice with a selection of a buffet of fresh fruits, along with various cerials followed by a hot breakfast menu of which there was a large selection, which was more than enough to fuel you for the day. Then the added bonus of a lovely pool and poolside area which all contributed to a lovely location for a summer break. A return visit is definitely on the cards Many thanks Mr, Mrs Morgan xx

    • Homely and well run guesthouse - highly recommend

We have just left The Cimon guesthouse after a 3 night stay. I had the family suite (room 1) and my friend had the superior suite (room 5). Both rooms were lovely and spacious and had clearly been renovated. The carpets are new and beds are really modern and comfortable. Bedding and towels are of a high quality which you don't always get in a guesthouse! Facilities are excellent in the rooms and include a fully stocked tea area and good size fridge which was most useful. The modern TVs are brilliant and USB sockets installed show that the owners are really focused on meeting modern demands especially for families. The pool is lovely and well kept. Loungers look new and the area is well maintained. Pool towels were provided which is great. Jo and Mark are excellent hosts and were readily available to help with anything. This really makes a difference to guests as you feel you can approach them for any issues, not that we had any. David was also very helpful right from the moment we walked in. All the girls serving breakfast and cleaning the rooms are lovely, professional and take good care of you. Breakfast was fantastic, Mark accomodated all of our special requests and fed us well! Items are of a good quality especially the eggs, sausages and bacon which can often be cheap in some places. The bar area is relaxing and we had some nice drinks. There is not a pool table anymore so TripAdvisor need to update this part. Parking is great and the guesthouse is conveniently situated to explore areas. A trip to Goodrington was lovely as there is a beach, steam train and water park all close together. We highly recommend The Cimon and will definitely return.

    • A Lovely Clean & Well Presented Guest House.

We were really pleased with our one night stay at the Cimon. On arrival the proprietor Mark welcomed us, and offered to carry our bags as he took us to our room. He explained about breakfast times, using the pool and how we could get a taxi to the town Centre, which is down hill and more than a 5 minute walk! Our superior room was spotlessly clean and the bed and bedding immaculate. The room had been recently decorated. It also had a fridge and settee. (See my photos) There were at least two lounges with comfortable seating , a tv and games available for use. The staff always acknowledged us and provided great service at breakfast. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Its registered as a Guest House, but it has everything and more than many hotels I have stayed in, dont be put off that its a Guest House. We would not hesitate to return here again
