I hate that I have to write this, however it is my experience & I dont wish for anyone else to experience what I went through. I purchased a gift certificate for a pedicure for my dad as a fathers day gift. This was done the Saturday before Fathers Day. I dealt with a lady by the name of Marjorie. When the purchase was made, she advised that I could proceed to making the appointment & suggested the following Sunday which was June 23rd 2019. At 11am. When we arrived a gentleman at reception informed us that the spa was in treatment but we could proceed if we wanted. We went to the spa & on entry, there was no one, we greeted loudly to see if anyone would come out, however no one did... we departed. I called a day later, but no one picked up & I called again. I spoke with Kia. She was very friendly & I remembered her from my 1st call when I was inquiring about the pedi. I gave Kia the details regarding what had happened & she apologized. We rescheduled for Saturday June 29th at 10am. She did mention she would speak with Marjorie, who is also the spa manager. Kia had also noted that our booking showed up as no show. Nonetheless, we showed up Saturday 29th June for our pedi, on arrival, we were asked to have a sit by Marjorie who was filling a bin liner with towels. When she was finished, she asked me to sit at the pedi area. To my amazement, in the most unprofessional manner, She went you said you came last week ? I was there nobody came Personally I felt attacked, especially since the matter was already dealt with. In my opinion I think an apology should have been issued rather than an attack or debate on whether someone was there or not. Furthermore if someone no shows for an appointment, the contact number taken should be used. No one telephoned me on that day. I know the number was on file because Kia verified it with me. St. Lucia has several other resorts, likewise spas. I CHOSE your resort, your spa. While I understand things happen regardless of who is at fault, the treatment thereafter was uncalled for. The customer service was horrible from Marjorie & I truthfully felt unwelcomed or that she was disgusted by me. I hope nobody else has to go through this. Im super disappointed & as a regular 7th Heaven customer, Harbor Club is cancelled!!!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here last month (May 2019). The complimentary breakfast offered were decent and varied a little bit each morning but the most commendable part of it was the crew - highly efficient, attentive and always pleasant to us. The pool during our stay was not busy so it was nice. The best part was the complimentary use of the private/serviced cabana for Diamond members plus the initial drink is also complimentary. We signed up at the front desk after breakfast to book the cabana and it's ours for the whole day. Luckily, it was only us who booked the cabana that day so we had the infinity pool and the rest of the private cabana area to ourselves! Our room on the 4th floor is average in size with balcony. It was clean and the decor is simple and pleasant. We had the view of the marina plus the whole swimming area below. My only minor complaint is the shower stall - the tiles need re-caulking and the design of the glass partition causes water to spill outside the stall. Another bonus when you stay at Harbor Club is the complimentary boat ride (about 15-20 mins) they provide to Pigeon Island. We signed up at the time we checked in and scheduled the trip for the next morning. They provide return trip as well, you just need to let them know what time. They follow set schedule (departs fr hotel twice a day - 10:30 and 1 I think, pick up from Pigeon island at 1:30 and 4??) so you have to check with the front desk at the time of the booking so you know which time will work for you. They set up lounge chairs (with towels) along the beach. The beach is a meh imo but the view from the fort is nice and worth the walk up. We booked our own taxi service to get around the area (e.g. dinner and some grocery shopping) during our stay but the front desk will also arrange one for you if you ask them. I just prefer to use the taxi ride that I already researched based on TA reviews. I posted a separate review on that taxi ride that we used as well. All in all, it was a good stay for us in this hotel.

If you are going to St.Lucia do yourselves a favour and stay at this beautiful hotel. This was our 30th wedding anniversary and when we got to our room we discovered they had upgraded us to a marina and pool view, decorated the bed with hearts and petals with champagne chilling on the side ,such a lovely gesture they turned our holiday into a second honeymoon. All the staff deserve a mention for their friendliness and professionalism you quite literally want for nothing ,Sarah and Spencer at breakfast were particularly lovely. The cleanliness is superb your room jwill be magically transformed each day by the hard working cleaning staff with clean bedding and fresh towels and you will be gently woken each morning with soft music and birdsong. On top of all this they provide a free shuttle service either by boat or taxi to a little beach on pigeon island where they provide towels sun loungers and cold water Thankyou Harbour Club for an unforgettable holiday x

A wonderful time and experience at the Harbor Club on our honeymoon. First, in order to properly illustrate how exceptional the Harbor Club is, it is necessary to recognize the staff for their exemplary service, personality and enthusiasm. While everyone's name isn't listed below, the entire staff is 5 star. -- Entrance and Welcome Desk: The entry is modern, open and bright with a nice ambience of music and chatter, however, we thought the entrance could use something more. A little more "5-Star" thought, design and class. In the event that the Harbor Club management's goal is to grow the property into 5 star territory with the likes of Ritz Carlton, Viceroy, etc.., it is close, but it boils down to little things (P.S. we didn't mind, only a suggestion). The staff at the welcome desk were attentive and efficient in getting us checked in. During the process, we were greeted with rum punch, a nice touch. In fact, upon arrival and being diamond members of HHonors, we were provided an upgraded room (be sure to ask). That sure lifted the honeymoon spirit even further! -- Marina/Pool View Balcony Room: The Harbor Club has it's touch of technology and "smart" innovation. The floors are accessed via your key card touched to the plaque to the right of the door. The same goes for our room. In addition, your "Do Not Disturb" and "Request for Housekeeping Service" is on a touch pad inside the room next to the door (easy use). The room was bright, modern and island in feel without being too overdone. All of your typical amenities are there, LED TV, Fridge, TONS of storage, places to charge your tech (USB and EU style plugs) and seating area. The bed was cozy and comfortable even after a week's stay. The bathroom is bright and airy, accessed via a frosted sliding glass door. The shower outfitted with both rain head and traditional shower heads and Bulgari bath soaps, shampoo, etc... Sitting on the balcony in the morning, drinking either the Nespresso (machine in room), or with a nice morning beverage from 7th Heaven Bakery (reviewed below), is pure magic at Harbor Club. In the morning, beautiful light ambient music played while gazing over the many pools, into the marina with an extensive inventory of sail and yachts, and out over to Pigeon island. Housekeeping service was always timely and thorough, leaving the room refreshed and clean. -- Pool Area: If you are reading this, odds are you have seen photos of the pools. They do not do them justice. A beautiful and relaxing space! Plenty of relaxing area to take in sun on deck, or, on sun shelves in the pool with loungers, swim over to the pool bar for one of those drinks referenced above or lunch, enjoy the jacuzzi, peer over multiple infinity edges out into the marina or escape inside the large grotto with monster waterfall. Behind that waterfall and grotto are restrooms fully equipped with outdoor showers, and amenities similar to types in the room bathrooms. Some have mentioned music is either too loud, too much rap/pop, or both. We did not encounter anything inappropriate or too loud. It was just right! -- Julia's: We frequented Julia's every morning for breakfast, twice for lunch and multiple times ordering via the pool bar for appetizers and small bites. Breakfast has everything you would expect: made to order omelettes, eggs, bacon, french toast, breads, bagels, fruit, juices etc... and the list could go on forever. We were always satisfied by the food as well as the wonderful staff (didn't get everyone's name, but they are all superb). The lunch menu and small bites are delicious (try the garlic shrimp during lunch time). -- Dockside Pizzeria and Pool Bar: Barry, Andre, Priscilla, Nahum, Tonya, even the name tag "Trainee" (Courtney). We thank you for your friendly demeanors, attentive service and knowledge of St. Lucia and beyond. You all made us feel welcomed, appreciated and we absolutely love your playlists! We apologize for missing anyone! Residing in New York City, pizza is something of a core component of life there. We were pleasantly surprised and downright excited about how delicious and well done the pizza from Dockside was (definitely ate way too much of it)! Add to that, tasty drink recommendations (ask any of the bartenders for their idea of the best Captain's Reserve drink, you will not be sorry)! Plus, in the event you are not a rum drinker, they have whatever you want, whenever you want (cannot go wrong with a Piton beer or sangria). -- Sushi Deck on Market Street: The sushi prepared by Chef Ricardo is purely outstanding. The service provided by Shermila rivals the sushi by Chef Ricardo! They are the hidden gem of Harbor Club. We were unsure of what we wanted off the large well appointed menu, so Chef Ricardo made us what he thought we would like. He was right! Lionfish, Kingfish, Conch and other traditional sushi and sashimi were professionally presented and some of the best we have had. We especially loved the addition of mango, rather than avocado into the various rolls. Super tasty. Be sure to enjoy Ricardo, Shermila and other guests' company overlooking the marina and sunsets from the Sushi Deck. -- Positano: Located on the top of Harbor Club, overlooking the entire marina with views as far as the eye can see, is yet another gem. Fine dining, delicately thought out menu and precise execution are what we thought. We cannot say enough about Daina and her professional, delightful and knowledgeable demeanor. Thank you for taking such good care of us during our dinner! We began with sea scallops and conch chowder. Presentation and taste: Fantastic. We continued with the veal chop and seafood spaghetti: Even more fantastic. With pallet cleansing additions throughout, wonderful wine and cocktail selections, Positano is a must. -- 7th Heaven Bakery: A large selection of breads, pastries and beyond, we thought 7th Heaven Bakery a thoughtful addition to the Harbor Club. Their cupcakes are delicious and coupled with a cappuccino, you will be in "heaven" (pun intended). We would also be remiss if it was not mentioned that we inadvertently entered the bakery a bit before they opened one morning while the staff were setting up for the day. They were gracious and completed our order, then advised us of their hours. Unbelievably great service. They are the best! -- The Harbor Club Spa: At first, we were only going to schedule one treatment (Deep Tissue Massage) each. However, after that treatment, the expertise by Keiya and Marjorie convinced us for more. We utilized the Deep Tissue Massage twice, Hydrating Oil Wrap, Cold Marine Wrap twice (a must after sun filled days). The products are top notch and their knowledge and execution of treatments are impeccable. Thank you for everything. You made our honeymoon even better! -- Beach: Between Stuwart, Kendall and Shatele, they will get you to the beautiful beach at Pigeon Island, set your loungers, towels and water up. Not to mention, they also can be seen in the morning, and throughout the day, taking care of all the pools and decks. You guys are great! Thank you for everything you do! One of our questions was about the beach transportation. Answers seem to be vague addressed in reviews, so we hope this will clarify for everyone. Transportation is provided via boat, however, on occasion they may need to utilize a shuttle if they have too many passengers or if the captain is off for the day (we took a shuttle once, the day captain was off). The primary beach that The Harbor Club provided transportation to and from is Pigeon Island. It is part of Pigeon Island National Park. The transportation departed at 10:30AM, 12:30PM, and picked up from Pigeon Island at 1:00PM and 3:00PM. The boat was a Bayliner 19 foot bowrider which was fairly new. Since it is a no wake zone throughout the marina until you get to the inlet out to the bay, the boat ride takes about 8-12 minutes. It launches from the docks behind the Harbor Club and Sushi Deck and provides awesome views of the sailboats, yachts and estates facing the marina. You will pass by some of the fishing boats on your way to the bay. Once you enter the bay, you see a water park to your left and directly in front of you is Pigeon Island, a great view! To the right are various bars and nightclubs in Gros Islet (Friday night street fairs: music, food and dance are a must) and then you pass Sandals Grande on your way to the Pigeon Island. When there, you will be provided loungers (same as in the pool area), towels and chest of ice with water. Next to the beach we went to Jambe De Bois for lunch multiple times. Great food, great drinks and better prices! We suggest the Curried Kingfish, or, if curry isn't your thing, Fried Fish sandwich on pita or baguette. Also, if Smokey comes by with his drink boat, be sure to grab a rum punch in a pineapple (Refills are FREE). The Harbor Club staff originally did not know we were on our honeymoon. While we were at our first day on Pigeon Island beach, they graciously provided a surprise of 7th Heaven Bakery cupcakes (delicious!) and Prosecco with a wonderfully thoughtful setup of flower pedals in the room. We cannot thank you enough for the memory! Thank you to everyone at The Harbor Club for a honeymoon, vacation and stay that will never be forgotten. You all have persuaded us to book another trip to St. Lucia and a stay with you. We look forward to our next adventure together. Much love, K and B.
