    • All round perfection

I had a wonderful night staying at the Opposite House, thank you to the whole team for such a warm welcome. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi they knew my name, and from there the welcome was seamless into my home. The team were engaging and really did their utmost to ensure a memorable stay. The location of the house is perfect with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The team really know the city well and have fantastic recommendations. The room has a beautiful design and is extremely spacious and in-room technology which is extremely easy to use and very useful. The bar on the ground floor was bustling and had a great atmosphere. I hope to be back soon, thank you for a perfect stay!

    • Rooms need an upgrade soon

I stayed at Opposite House for one night at a quick visit to Beijing. The location right in the middle of Sanlitun is excellent. The front desk staff was kind, but a bit junior. They kindly upgraded me to a larger room. Thanks for that. The Kengo Kuma designed hotel is very sleek and lobby area is very cool. My room was large and very light, but the room has lots of light wood everywhere and I guess its kind of Kuma trademark. Im sure it has looked super cool years back, but now it seems a bit tired. The very minimalistic interior design simply looks like it could use an upgrade. The shower cabins are not up to standard for a hotel in this price range. All in all, an ok hotel experience in Beijing, but some room for improvement

    • Fantastic location and spectacular hotel

We stayed at Opposite House for 2 nights and took advantage of their suite sale (stay 2 nights and get one free). When we checked in we were upgraded to the 115m suite and it was very impressive. We had a huge Japanese soaking tub and large balcony. There is a fully stocked mini bar which is complimentary and the staff left us little surprises (like facemasks and snacks). The bed was uber comfortable and the shower was to die for. An really excellent room. On top of this, the hotel is in an amazing area with trendy bars, shops and restaurants one way and the calm of Embassy residences the other. It is safe and nice to walk in the area. The breakfast that was included at Jing Yaa Tang was extensive and delicious. Full a la carte menu (Western and Chinese options) and also cold buffet tables with hand made yogurt, cheeses, smoked salmon, pastries etc. The pool was large and clean, good for laps. I went when it opened at 6:30am and had the area all to myself. Looked like a good gym also. The staff were all helpful, polite and efficient. It was a spectacular stay....we were spoiled rotten. Thank-you
